A Huge Thank You to Steve Bartlett

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Steve Bartlett, who managed his final game as coach of the Under-15 Tigers on Wednesday evening.
Steve’s last match in charge was against Worthy's Rhinos, where the girls had the fantastic opportunity to play on the first team pitch—cheered on by friends and family in the sunshine.

Reflecting on his time with the team, Steve said:
“I am immensely proud of the growth and development I’ve witnessed in each player—watching them evolve from little dots who had never played football into a team of young ladies capable of remarkable performances like we saw last night!”
“The decision to step away was not an easy one, but I believe it’s the right time. It’s been emotional, and it’s been a privilege to be a part of this journey. We’ve created some fantastic memories together.”
Steve has been a guiding force for the original HWJFC girls team, helping them progress toward their ultimate goal of becoming the first women's team at Hartley Wintney.

His commitment, leadership, and passion will be sorely missed. On behalf of the club, players, and parents—we’d like to thank Steve for everything and wish him the very best in his next adventure.
Thank you, Steve!
